The Pension Surplus claim has been officially presented to the Directors of
Wajax Ltd. and to Empire Company Limited.
We are awaiting OK from our lawyers to make
details of our claim public.

Wajax Pension Surplus Challenge Update - January, 2004
Its been
a long time since we have notified you of any progress on our case. We
are sure many of you have felt it has ground to a halt.
To the
contrary, In the past year your committee members and our legal
representatives have spent hundreds of more hours preparing our case.
We felt that we would have been ready to proceed early in 2003 however
as we received documentation from you our members and governmental
bodies etc it became apparent we had many more avenues of support for
our case. Rather than go forward with our basket half full we decided to
delay and add the additional ammunition we had uncovered.
This has now been completed and
we expect to move forward shortly with a much stronger case than even we
had originally thought we had.
We are
confident we will notify you of the next step in our lawsuit
before the end of January.
P.S.
There are still hundreds of employees and ex-employees who have not sent
in their $100. and joined our campaign. If you know of any please
encourage them to join because the more contributors we have the
stronger we will be financially. And if they wish to share in the
proceeds of our lawsuit its only right they should contribute along with
the rest of us.
